    Travel in the past.

This quiet small road led me to hundreds year-old temple. Wat Kongkaram is in Rachaburi. It’s an old temple which not many people know. I traveled there last weekend. Even though it was weekend but there were a few people there. It was quiet and so peaceful, no noisy sound from travelers. The most amazing thing was a painting on the roof and on the wall around the temple. It was exquisite and classic. There were many details in the painting. The painting was a story about Buddhism’s history, reflected people’s faith in the past. This temple is one of the best unseen places in Thailand that everyone should experience it, add it to a travelling list. Moreover there was an old Thai style house near the temple. It was built around 200 hundreds years ago. There were 9 rooms which exhibited thousands of antique objects from Burma. Burmese used to evacuate to this area in the past. Moreover there were student guides who were willingly guide you around. They were very lovely and ready to answer any questions from you. They studied at the school near the temple. It was their projects which cherished children to know more about their home, to love their hometown. I think that was a great project.
