A nightmare trip with travel agency

I rarely travel with a travel agency. It’s not a bad thing if the travel agency offers the best thing to their customers. I have a bad experience in travelling with the travel agency. I went to New Zealand that time. When we went skiing, a guide didn’t let me to choose the ski equipment shop. I want to rent the ski equipment from the best shop, so their quality will be good. The guide argued why I didn’t rent from the shop he chose even he knew that it’s not good. Not only the ski, but also the hotels they chose were bad either. The hotels which the travel agency dealt with were just 3 stars. From the price I paid for this trip, it’s supposed to be 4 or 5 stars. When I asked the guide about this, he answered me with tons of excuses. They also took all the tourists in that trip to some souvenir shops they knew. Even they were famous shop, I was not happy with that. I used to travel with good travel agencies too. I think the most important thing is being honest with your customers, offering the best to your customers. Then travelling with a travel agency can be fun and memorable.
